Making it easy to find a garage you can trust
LocateMyMechanic is a new UK marketplace connecting drivers with independent garages and mechanics.
Why we started
Finding a good local garage usually means asking around, guessing from a website, or ringing several places for a price. Meanwhile, many excellent independent garages rely on word of mouth and struggle to be found online.
LocateMyMechanic puts local garages' prices, opening hours and genuine reviews in one place, so drivers can compare them in a few minutes — and garages get booking requests from people nearby.
What we believe
- Free for drivers. You never pay us. You pay the garage directly for the work.
- Fair for garages. A simple monthly membership and a small fee only when a new customer actually turns up — never for enquiries or no-shows.
- Honest reviews. Only customers who visited can review. We never pay for reviews, and garages can't delete them.
- Garages stay in charge. Garages set their own prices and contact drivers to agree each booking.
Where we are
We're starting in north Birmingham — Kingstanding, Erdington, Perry Barr, Great Barr and Sutton Coldfield — and will grow area by area as more garages join.
